About LifePath FA
LifePath Financial Advisors
Mission Statement: To embrace curiosity, openness, confidence, and kindness and make a difference in the industry, society and earth.
Vision Statement: To change lives and make true financial wellness a reality for everyone.
Woman founded and operated: My goal is to provide a unique experience and perspective around financial wellness. I seek to engage, empower, and educate every client equally. I focus on your values and best life goals and spend less time talking about the technical aspects so you can focus on what matters to you.
No minimum income or asset requirements: While investment management is important to what I do, it's not the entire picture. My ideal clients are ready to take control of their finances and take them to the next level. Services are available via traditional assets under management fees, monthly subscriptions, or a combination. This creates accessibility to more people who are willing to prioritize their financial well-being including those in earlier career stages, and those who have their wealth invested in a small business or real estate.
Virtual presence: With video conferencing technology, geographic locations are less important than they used to be.
Public Benefit Corporation: LifePath Financial Advisors is registered as a Public Benefit Corporation, providing a public benefit by offering accessible, fee only financial advice and focusing on environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) and impact investments.
Erica Blake, CFA, CFP®, CSLP®
The decision to launch LifePath Financial Advisors was driven by the desire to use my experience and knowledge in the wealth management industry to make an instrumental difference in people's lives. I view the practice as my life mission and- life path. I was originally inspired to study finance by reading Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki during high school. After graduating from Colorado State University, I spent 12 years laying the foundation of my career in investment management. During that time, I completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and learned how to analyze investments and manage investment portfolios. I oversaw two bond strategies, hosted internal market update calls, and wrote investment commentaries. Over the years I transitioned to an advisory role, working directly with clients and completed the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) program, eager to discover new ways to add value for clients. I led the team that developed an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) / Socially Responsible investment (SRI) portfolio for clients and spent two years learning about impact investments. I became focused on the concept of the triple bottom line of maximizing people, planet and profit and later completed the Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the University of Colorado. I completed the Certified Student Loan Program (CSLP®) shortly after launching the firm to help clients navigate student loan debt while working toward other important goals like buying a home, starting a family or preparing for retirement. I have always called Colorado home and currently live in Lafayette, CO with my partner, Andrew, and our Yellow Lab/ Border Collie mix, Addie HoneyPenny.
